The Annual Meta Contest is a local competition open to San Jose NARI members. The name is taken from the word "metamorphosis", which means transformation. The contest provides an opportunity for members to showcase their best work and be recongnized for their talents. By rewarding excellence and professionalism in remodeling, the Meta contest also promotes NARI's Mission Statement and Code of Ethics. Judging is done by an independent panel consisting of contractors from other NARI chapters, architects, media members and other volunteers with an expertise in home design.
